1. What are your studio or gallery hours?
Usually someone is here but it is a good idea to call first. Sometimes there may not be a large selection due to shows or high sales. Please leave your name, telephone number and a good time to return your call if you reach the answering machine.
2. Is there any lead used in the production of your pottery?
No.
3. Can I use this pottery?
Except for raku, which is fired at relatively low temperatures and is strictly decorative, the high fired white clay blends and glazes are extremely durable and designed for everyday use.
4. Can I put it in the dishwasher?
Absolutely. Care in stacking and handling will naturally extend the usefull life of your pieces.
5. Can I use it in the microwave?
It is simply a delight to use hand crafted pottery in the modern kitchen because of the microwave. The cycle of going from the microwave to the table, then the refrigerator, and back to the microwave is quite convenient. Your refrigerator will look like a gallery!
6. Do you take custom orders?
Often special orders can lead an artist down a unexpected and rewarding creative path, but there are challenges involved in trying to reproduce even Glen MacInnis Studio work because materials, procedures, and attitudes change. Change is good and an open mind is a terrible thing to waste, so give me a call and we can discuss it.
